About us
The Patrician is beautiful building managed by an independent, voluntary committee known as MUCAT – Mid Ulster Community and Arts Trust. The venue is state of the art and multi-purpose, located in Carrickmore, in the Parish of Termonmaguirc in the centre of Co. Tyrone.
Community involvement is at the very heart of The Patrician. When the venue, known as The Patrician Hall, was originally built 60 years ago, it was the people of the local area who built and paid for it and, when it received its first facelift in over 40 years, it was the people of the area once again who helped build and finance the venue.
Today, it stands at the centre of the community, run by the community, for the community, as a testament to all who have gone before and to our future.
The Trustees and Committee are all volunteers giving their time and skills for the good of the community. The committee are elected at the AGM. We welcome all additions to the committee – just let us know if you are interested in lending a hand!
