Synopsis

Mal and Máiréad, a middle aged couple, having a mid-life crisis which climaxes against the backdrop of her sister’s wedding. Over the course of the weekend, they confront unresolved issues, encounter former lovers and the ghosts of their past. As they drink, dance and reminisce, cracks emerge and their lives take on a dramatic turn of events. Mal and Máiréad are ordinary people, trying to make sense of their lives, where have they come from and where are they going, seeking redemption and maybe a piece of Heaven
