In 2020 / 21, members of the MUCAT committee worked on a visual history project to chart some of the old trades and services that would once have been in Carrickmore. The result is a stunning set of traditional shop fronts and information boards on the side wall of the Hall. Thanks to everyone who helped and volunteered with the project, and to the Community Foundation for their assistance in providing valuable funding.
This feature has been used for band photoshoots, family pictures, as well as adding some nostalgia to the area, with many visitors paying a visit and reminicisng about the past! The Termon Camino group visited here, and the primary school also visitned whilst on their mini Camino. It’s definitely a way to brighten up the town!

Cuireann an choiste cuireadh roimh chách le cuairt a thabhairt ar an tionscnamh agus rud éigin a fhoghlaim faoin Charraig Mhór agus na ceirdeanna atá imithe agus na seirbhísí a bhí ar feadh na céadtha.
