New Porch Added
In July 2026, we opened a new Porch and glass facade on the front of the building. Delivered with funding from the National Lottery with the goal of improving the thermal efficiency of the building, a number of works were completed to a high standard.
Granagh Construction oversaw the works involving site preparation, foundation, remediation and also managed sub-contrators delivering:
– Replacement of glass curtain wall by OAS, installation of glass porch and new automated entrance doors.
– Steel porch by Hughes Engineering
– Electrical fit out by Armstrong Electrical
– Flat roof protection by Emerald Roofing
– Lead fascia by Leadcraft
– Ceiling by Coyle’s Suspended Ceiling
– Soffit by Town and Country Guttering
– Painting by Casey Painting
– New mat well and mat by Foxes Furniture and flooring
– New 360 heater / AC unit in foyer by Malachy McGarrity
– Solar panels installed and commissioned by Alternative Energy
School of Rock '26
Our third annual School of Rock took place in July 2026. Under the expertise of Shauna McGarrity, Aiden Scott-Browne and Anna McCloskey, the 30 students engaged with various genres of music, covering songs by Bryan Adams, The Drop Kick Murphy’s, Juliet Turner, The Cranberries, Snow Patrol, Ella Langley, among others.
Junior Crochet Camp
In July 2026. we ran two successful Junior Crochet Camps. With so much interest, a weekly Junior Crochet class has been added to the Tuesday morning schedule for July.
The Full Irish Music Show
In March 2026, we hosted 3 amazing nights of The Full irish Music Show. Expertly hosted by confident and bilingual young people, this feast of live music had the audience entralled, covering songs by The Cranberries, U2, Dolores Keane, Westlife etc.
